Minecraft Education
Minecraft Education is not just a game. It is a comprehensive learning tool that helps children develop the following skills:
Getting introduced to the basics of chemistry, physics, and digital literacy.
Learning teamwork and creative thinking,
Strengthening mathematical and spatial thinking skills,
Learning logic and algorithms (programming),
How to Install Minecraft Education?
For Windows
  1. Click the link: 👉https://aka.ms/downloadmee
  2. Click “Download”
  3. Click “Save”
  4. Open the downloaded file
  5. Click “Install”
  6. Wait for download and installation to finish
After the setup is complete, you can launch the game from the Start menu or desktop.
For macOS
  1. Click the link: 👉 https://aka.ms/meeclientmacos
  2. Open the downloaded file and move the Minecraft Education icon into the Applications folder
  3. Open the game via Launchpad or the Applications folder
  4. If macOS asks for permission — choose “Open”
Log In
How to
You will receive login credentials (username and password) either in the welcome message or from your instructor during your first class.
If your login details are an email and a password, use them to sign into Minecraft Education.
Sometimes, Minecraft might ask for additional authentication via an authenticator app. You can use any authenticator app you already have, or install:
Microsoft Authenticator (for Microsoft account): Android / IOS
Google Authenticator (for Gmail account): Android / IOS
How to add Minecraft Education to Microsoft Authenticator:
  1. Open the app
  2. Accept Microsoft’s Terms of Use
  3. Decline additional data-collection permissions
  4. Log in with your email, choose “personal” as account type
  5. Tap the plus (+) icon → “Add via QR code”
  6. Scan the QR code shown in Minecraft Education
  7. Enter the 6-digit code generated by the Authenticator into Minecraft Education
How to add with Google Authenticator:
  1. Open the app → log in
  2. Tap plus (+) → “Add with QR code”
  3. Scan the QR code shown in Minecraft Education
  4. Enter the code generated by the app into Minecraft Education
